About Us
The Radosti Winery
Wine and Mikulov are inextricably linked, just as are the vine, the sun, the soil, and moisture. These are the elements that form the essence of every wine—the elements that give rise to wine.
However, the winemaker also influences the wine, and in our case, it is our entire family that makes decisions about cultivation and production and determines the style, character, and type of each wine.
And in our decision-making, we are influenced, motivated, inspired, and encouraged by our surroundings and environment—that is, by Mikulov and its unique atmosphere and genius loci. We therefore strive to honor the local winemaking tradition and produce wines with the unmistakable character of Mikulov.

About Us
We are the Radosti Winery
On the slopes of Pálava, where the sun caresses the grapes and the wind carries the scent of the surrounding meadows, we have begun a new chapter – Víno Radosti.
It is a story of renewal, integrity, and the belief that even when things don’t go exactly as planned, life has its own beautiful path forward.
Honestly? It wasn’t exactly a walk in the park.
Back when we were still Víno Šílová, we made a few… let’s just say interesting decisions. Those decisions put us in a tough spot—debts to suppliers, an empty bank account, and lost trust. The end of 2024? That was the moment when we had to ask ourselves, “So what now?”
And you know what? We’ve decided to go for it “right now!”
The majority owner, Foundation A, said: “Let’s do this again—this time with love!” Because for us, it was never just about the wine, the hotel, or the restaurant. It was about creating a place where compassion, joy, generosity, and mutual respect can flourish. And he just won’t give up.
We worked our butts off all year long in 2025 (literally!). We paid off every last cent, put together an amazing team, joined forces with the talented winemaker Marek Jaštík, and, step by step, regained people’s trust.
And today?
When we look at our 11 hectares of vineyards, the Radost Hotel, our award-winning restaurant, and our wine shop in the heart of Mikulov, we say to ourselves: Yes, this is how it should be! Radost is back. And it’s here to stay.
Víno Radosti not just a brand—it’s a reminder that even when we stumble, we can get back up and keep dancing.
Wine that brings people together. Wine that tastes great. A wine that simply brings joy.
Because joy isn’t just some extra bonus in life—it’s the reason we’re here. Those simple, beautiful moments. No complications. Just beauty.
Varieties
White wines
Given the growing conditions in the Mikulov wine subregion, we focus primarily on producing white wines. We also have red grape varieties in our vineyards, most of which we use to make rosé wines.
Of the total annual production of 25,000 bottles, about 90% are white, with the remainder being rosé and red.
The flagship wines of our winery are the traditional varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Grüner Veltliner, as well as the Neuburger, a variety that is now rare and rarely cultivated outside our wine-growing region.
With all our grapes, we strive to respect their natural character and thus create pure, varietal wines with an unmistakable origin.

Zlámalka Cellar
We process our harvest in the cellar on Zlámalova Street. This will include a beautiful vineyard below Svatý kopeček, which we are currently restoring. Follow us on social media so you don’t miss any updates!
